Supported by the Program Goal 3 on promoting cross-border cooperation 2007-2012 between the Czech Republic and the Free State of Saxony

Financial volume of the project:
1,212,887, 98 EUR (30,323,000, - CZK) the total amount of project expenditures of all project partners
1,031,768.20 euros (about 25.8 million, - CZK) Educational and recreational center Lesná, ops
Of which:
877,002.97 euros (about 21.9 million, - CZK) - EU grant funds
€ 51,588.41 (about 1.300.000, - CZK) - environ. from the state budget
€ 103,176.82 (about 2.600.000, - CZK) - own resources - Of which 52,200 volunteer work, - CZK (1,305,000, - CZK)
Project activities:
◦- on the Czech side will be implemented in the construction / reconstruction of the building, Education and recreation center, which became a Czech-German information center Lesenská plain open all year round, which will be newly equipped (financial volume of approx. CZK 13 million)
◦- in cooperation with the project partners will be created interactive trail linking infocentres LP and PP
◦- will be created comprehensive offer different stays (2-7 days) in the Ore Mountains
◦- within a stronger positioning in coordination of all project partners will be filmed a short film image spot
◦- on the German side will be retrofitted existing information center and created an exhibition / exposition of mining in this area
Objectives of the project:
◦- visibility Krušnohoří
◦- summarize all relevant information about activities, information and awareness events, accommodation, sporting activities, etc. at the site and their distribution to the widest possible audience - education field
◦- influx of tourists
◦- development of sustainable tourism for the environment
◦- strengthen patriotism
◦- removing language barriers in this area
◦- linking information centers on the Czech and German sides of the Ore Mountains (trail)
