Down-stream canal Flájský - Up-stream time
The nature trail along the canal Fláje - Clausnitz, which is the oldest technical monument of its kind, a total length of 18 km. This canal was built to transport wood between the town Fláje and Claustnitz. We didn´t dare to enjoy all the trail with a group from the Mikroregion San Sebastian. And so we took advantage of the fact that the weather on October 18th, 2014 more than wanted, and went to see at least the final kilometres of this canal. Thanks to the information boards that are in the village Clausnitz on almost every corner, respectively in each showcase, we had the opportunity to acquaint themselves with the details of the history of the village. When we knew all what the requirements are for floating and that in which they made the toy house, we could continue. Next stop was the village Neuhausen and the main attraction - almost twenty-foot tall functional nutcracker. Although, as it turned out later - perhaps even greater success than nutcracker witch was telling fairy tales. The wood witch was telling the story so flame, until we started to worry, if not catch her witch's house, actually Hexenhaus. The last scheduled place in the Saxony was the town Seiffen. A place that the whole year looks like Christmas should start tomorrow. We looked at the traditional arch "Schwibbogen", a wooden doll of various shapes and toys, the existence of which many of us had no idea. Already upon us, however, we waited tables prepared in Mountain Hotel Lesná and mainly Krušnohorský museum. Although the beginning of the day was somewhat disturbed by the amount of detours, the final flat cakes from cabbage and potatoes, which have been prepared on the premises of the museum, eliciting a smile on everyone's face.
