Christmas in the mountains

Each year, visitors to the Forest forward to Sunday of Advent with creative workshops in the Ore museum. People in the beautiful surroundings of the mountain of the house want peaceful holidays and enjoy the Christmas atmosphere. Some come back memories of his childhood and going to talk to their grandparents.

This year, this public event was held for the third time. This time, however Lesná Mountain Club in the Ore Mountains Association, which was the organizer in previous years, provided the only background. Activities and content of Advent Sundays was directed staff Education and leisure center, Forest and their German partners Deutschneudorf center and information center Fortuna Fundgrube e. V.

Path to the peak of your Christmas holidays this year found more than 500 people, especially families. Children decorate the Christmas tree, nativity scenes built, sang carols, Christmas ornaments produced from pedig, nuts, decorate gingerbread and candlesticks from apples. Moms could tie themselves true bakery brush, make traditional beeswax candles, sew lavender bag and try to work on the potter's wheel. Dads pinching animals and tasted right Erzgebirge cakes, mulled wine and Christmas cookies.

A great spectacle for all the four-storey nativity scene with figures of 255, scored by Josef Fiala.

The whole event was organized within the project "Two countries - one region" supported by Objective 3 Programme to promote cross-border cooperation 2007 -2013 between the Czech Republic and the Free State of Saxony.
