Mine Fortuna is surrounded unsolved rebuses and secrets. More than 400 years ago began a story that still could not be fully explained. As it has been regaling kept secret? What are covered with transports at the end of the Second World War? Due to intensive investigation of scientist from the Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg was found entrance into shaft. The overall scope of this mine is more than 70 ha, of which today is made available 20% of ways.
Few mines were so massive and completely explained like this one. In 2001 near the mine was build Huthaus gallery and „mining room“. In this building are regular events for the public.
