Moorevital - peatbog

Before more than 9000years ago incurred in the top of the middle Ore Mountains area huge Borland. Over centuries and long time lasting extraction and drain was moorland hard damaged. This area belongs today to most famous biotope of the Ore Mountains. The purpose of all activities is to leave a functioning moorland on both parts Czech – German border for future generations. The project for revitalization of moorland between St. Sebasian Mont and German village Satzung deal with cross-border effective actions for preservation of endangered biotope.
From March 2010 interested about this project Provincial administrative Saxony, Speila-purpose Nature Park Erzgebirge/Vogtland, Saxon office for the protection of environment, Agriculture and Geology, Forest administration of Czech, Regional offices in Ústí nad Labem together with the European Union with one billion Euro supported project Cíl 3/Ziel 3. The possibility of renewal pest during flooding and water retention.
The exhibition is now in the Information center Lesenská pláň.
